Is training Pegasus Warriors a good idea?
It seems like sticking to dwarven soldiers until you can train something else might be more cost effective.

They seem to keep the meele monsters

I'm no expert, but I've heard from multiple people that Pegasi and Unicorns both are too fast for their own good. They are good units, but they rush into enemy ranks and get killed. Most people use Dryads and Dragons instead.

don't dragons rush as well?
i just massed ranged units. elven archers are the best primary archers because they have the top speed.
they can kill most units before they even get the chance to get killed.

Pegasi suck, don't bother to use them. You'll constantly lose them and will be healing them after every battle.
